Yes. But as a preface, nobody can call themselves Catholic (or Christian as far as I am concerned) and support abortion, same-sex marriage, or the intential disfiguration of human bodies.

Theoretically they could, but it would be in bad faith. Acting in bad faith means being lukewarm: So because you are lukewarm— neither hot nor cold— I am about to vomit you out of My mouth!; it means being disobedient, which is contrary to the faith: My purpose in writing you was to see if you would stand the test and be obedient in everything.
