Tragic Csse of Ryan Waller, the victim treated as a suspect during interrogation

The bruising behind the ear is so obvious. Even if the police didn’t know what Battle’s sign is (which they should), they should know from common sense that no one gets punched in the face hard enough to bleed behind the ear like that. I get that they might think the odd behavior is from drugs but there’s no faking that kind of injury, especially considering the fact that if anyone had bothered to do a quick physical exam, I’m sure you could feel the fracture just by putting a little pressure on it. A 10 minute once-over before interrogation could have saved this man so much pain. I hope other police departments are taking notice so they don’t make the same mistakes.
