Train tracks in LA littered with the remains of packages stolen from freight trains. Several companies are considering to halt transport operations in LA County after a massive 180% raise in thefts over the last 12 months.

Honestly, it doesn’t matter. I’ve noticed that the average Reddit user bases their opinion on whatever the most upvoted comment is.

Even if the train tracks got lined with cops, there would be Redditors screaming about how homeless people shouldn’t be prosecuted, how the police are racist for trying to arrest the ( mostly ) minorities I’ve seen in the videos that have been posted and how we are wasting police resources.

But since there are no cops on the tracks, all the echo chambers users will talk about how the cops are too busy eating doughnuts and giving out parking tickets, when it’s actually the general public of California that have handicapped their own police force.
