Well race exists and it doesn’t. It’s not a particularly useful way of categorising people. The reality of racism as material oppression is that a person who has one white parent and one oppressed minority parent are squarely within the minority race. Part of the oppression of/violence against many races in the past has been the rape and impregnation of women by white men. (Non white, colonising or warring men have also absolutely engaged in this).

Race as we know it is a lot like gender. Social constructions based on histories and institutions of material oppression. The distinctions between races are of course a lot less clear cut than that between the sexes.
