This is something I call "Selective Empathy".

Just like my Trumper mom that cheered on Joe Arpaio's concentration camp but has a full-blown anxiety attack at the treatment of Incarcerated Capitol Rioters.

Is detransitioning a problem? Yes. Do I understand why detransitioners might participate in a reactionary backlash against these drugs? Yes.

But you know what victims I guarantee you don't care about? You know what victims I guarantee you don't have empathy for, in regards of their bodily harmony?

Trans people who are denied puberty blockers as teens, and then grow up to continue to be trans in adulthood.

Statistically speaking, WAY more numerous, have their bodies changed by natural puberty in ways WAY more notable than Lupron, but I doubt you even consider them "Victims".

Because the pain of trans people does not matter, you have no empathy for us.

Fortunately, professional medical organizations do have empathy for us, which is why puberty blockers exist. Puberty blockers do immensely more benefit than harm.

You're the equivalent of those "anti-chemotherapy activists" who lost a relative to chemotherapy and decides that it should be illegal and all cancer patients should get naturalistic remedies instead.
