Trans rights are non-negotiable for the Greens,' says Adam Bandt

In your opinion. I think where they lose the general public is on the equality, anti-racism, first nation, etc. The average Australian tends to lean fairly centre, more polar primary policies tend be somewhat of a deterrent, which is why parties like the Greens or say One Nation (opposite ends) don't get much of a chance. A lot of the right biased gonzo journalism applies as much to the Greens as it does to Labor, which is fairly disadvantageous if people are less inclined from the get go.

This will change in the coming years, younger generations appear to have quite different preferences, I'd probably say Labor : Greens become the two major parties, though a lot could change if we become a Republic in the interim.
