For us to have a proper team we need a rw, cb, cm and cdm. Getting players for 3 out of the 4 positions should be possible for us. Especially since it looks like we won't be getting Sancho.

The real frustration is coming from the combination of us being inept in the transfer market and our rivals being very active. City have already signed a Sane replacement and a backup for Laporte and are probably gonna sign koulibaly as well. Chelsea have also signed a couple of really good players and are looking to sign more. Us meanwhile wasted our time negotiating for just one player and failing.

No one is realistically expecting 3+ signings, but for a club of our stature and the position we are in getting atleast 3 good players qualifies for the bare minimum
