Transfer Student looking for a bit of help with application

Since the prompt specifically states to write about your college experience then you should address that. You need to address each point of the prompt but do so creatively.

The prompt that I did a couple years ago was much more open ended. I wrote about an experience I had outside of school and tied it back to UW by addressing how it gave me the skills to do well at UW and in my future career.

You should use specific and unique examples from your college career so far. Making your essay standout and stick in the readers memory it key. I'd stick with the story format and give examples BOTH inside and outside the classroom of what got you interested in your major and what achievements you've had so far within that field. The more unique the better. I'd end the essay stating how transferring to UW would help you specifically achieve your postgraduation goals moreso than your current school. The people doing admissions like seeing students who have a clear goal/plan for the future. But they are also looking to briefly get to know you as a person and not just as a student.
