Transgender?

I’m not sure I understand the context of your question and what you mean by “deal” with these patients. Why are you assuming you’ll see their nude body, first of all?

I personally try to evaluate my own bias and prejudice, think about why I may or may not feel a certain way about a person, and then think about my responsibility to them as a care provider. It is best to refrain from judging our patients, and if we come across something that makes us uncomfortable, we should evaluate specifically what makes us feel that way and why.

For example, would you be concerned about caring for a nude patient who identifies their gender in line with their sex? What about a straight male/straight female? How about a gay male or female? If you have various responses to these questions and the only difference is their gender orientation or sexual orientation, I think you have some reflecting to do, or maybe even an educational course on human sexuality.
