Transgender father leaves family in Toronto to start new life as six-year-old girl

I read the pieces on the scientists......and you think that means they should have been included in the 97%? Uh-huh.

No, it sounds like they shouldn't have been. Like I clearly said. 3 wrong out of 12,465 is still pretty damn convincing, and doesn't invalidate the study in any way, shape or form. In fact the "sample" that the blogger chose were all well known climate change deniers, and his "sample" is not at all representative of the rest of the studies included. No surprise since populartechnology.net is known for it's strong climate change denial, despite how "impartial" they claim to be.

When somebody starts lying about something like the 97% concensus, when "scientists" try to suppress opposing views, when people start expressing a desire to have those that disagree with them jailed, and when the spokespersons of any group live lives that are the absolute antithesis of that group's basic principles, I am apt to get rather contrarian.

What the almighty fuck are you talking about? Conspiracy theory much? You need to start getting your news from the news, not conspiracy theorist bloggers and loudmouth radio show hosts.

You frame "opposing views" as if they should be treated equally...they shouldn't. The vast majority of scientists who deny climate change are funded by oil corporations, or their beliefs are religious based, not fact based. Their opinions, which are not based on solid scientific evidence, don't deserve to be taken seriously. This isn't a case of legitimate science being ignored, this is a case of legitimate science ignoring illegitimate science.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

I'm the exact opposite, I'm proud that the scientific community has finally agreed on what we have known for a long time, and stopped caving to politics and corporate interests.

This climate change denial that you have bought into so readily is being created by oil companies to push their own corporate agendas. A study of 900 papers denying climate change found that 9/10 of the authors worked for organizations who received funding from ExxonMobil. Gullible, ignorant people like yourself gobble this bullshit up, then try and portray themselves as victims of oppression by the "system"...instead of just plain idiots.
