Transport Vehicle Issues

There seems to be a janky vehicle spawning system in place, probably done by DICE to help cut down on empty vehicles spawning and not being used, using up server performance. I've noticed on all maps, Devastation in particular, the half tracks will not spawn in at base until someone stands by their spawn point and waits. This is an awful way of doing it, and DICE needs to include buttons to deploy into armored and unarmored transport vehicles similar to the tank spawn buttons.

On Devastation, the half-tracks spawn way in the back of the team's uncap. At the start of the round, it takes a good 20-40 seconds to run over to where the spawn location of the halftrack is, and that's ASSUMING you know where they spawn. They won't even spawn into the world unless you stand near where they spawn. There's no map indicator as to where that location is, so you just have to roam around for a while and wait for it to spawn. Who in a 64 player server is going to spend the time running around in no-man's-land looking for a hidden spawn location when they could just follow the crowd and get into the action? No one. I've literally never seen another player use the half-tracks on devastation because you have to already know where they spawn, spawn in the uncap, run away from the center of the map, then wait for the truck to spawn if you're lucky.

Imagine: Three little circular buttons below the capture point and uncap icons that each represent a different vehicle. One for half-track, one for jeep, and one for motorcycle-track-thing. What we have there now are useless transport vehicle icons that only tell us that non-tank vehicles could spawn here somewhere if you know where they are but they won't spawn until you go there and wait for them, but also only if you know where to look.

It's awful.

AND THAT'S NOT FUCKING ALL.

No one is going to use the half-track to its potential because the game doesn't give you a reason to. It has no unlocks. There's no customization for it. The game doesn't tell you that it operates as a spawn beacon for the entire team. It's such a valuable commodity to getting the entire team around the map, and it's tragic that it spends 90% of its life either waiting in limbo to spawn in, being driven to a capture point and abandoned, or being driven straight towards a group of assaults and blowing up.
