I know there are a lot of shitheads that just, litter for the hell of it because they don't care. But a TON of what you see in the parks is a direct result of homelessness within our parks and the lack of any proper enforcement. And, during times of heavy rain, a lot of the litter gets swept away and lands in one place, so you will see piles of trash in random places sometimes.

I went to Hippie Hollow a few weekends ago and was just totally astounded at the amount of glass EVERYWHERE. Where did the days of patrols citing people for bringing glass into parks? I see cops posted up at HH every time I go, yet still see the most insane amount of glass scattered everywhere. It almost looks like they gave up because there's just too much glass already.
