Travel Advisory Thursday

Fuck man, my usual highway exit was completely jammed and I couldn't merge safely. The exit queue was so long, cars were standing still on the first lane of the motorway, whilst on lane 2 and 3, cars and trucks were flying by at 90+ kmh. A very dangerous situation, and I don't want a distracted truck driver driving into me. As a result, I had no choice but to continue and use the next exit, and turn around and use my usual highway exit but on the opposite side. That's fine if the next exit is only a few kilometers away. But I had to drive like 10 extra kilometers, both ways, for this.

It's such a shitty feeling, because you're a bit late, not because of normal motorway traffic jam, but because you can't even exit the motorway (safely).
