Stop bitching and buy a prepaid sim there or switch to T-Mobile problem solved, because At&t will charge u HUGE roaming fees and well there's no wifi outside when u travel by car . And since u don't wanna use a map obviously like u said u gonna need a phone . So prepaid sim or T-mobile which works free.......... I been to Iceland I had At&t which is crap for roaming internationally it's pricey My friend had T-MOBILE we used her phone since it was COMPLETELY free (only good thing about T-mobile) it was 2G speed only but it got the job done with navigation and stuff like looking up restaurants and places to go . Much better than using At&t or buying a local sim .
