Travelling with a disability?

You are blessed that your specific disability shouldn't present a significant logistical challenge when it comes to solo travel. Having to use a wheelchair makes travel far more difficult (e.g. stairs into museums, taxis, lack of elevators, cobblestone paths, muddy trails, steps in parks, etc.).

In terms of perception and attitude, I believe you'll have zero issues in most cultures. Citizens in countries that have faced war recently (Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, etc.) won't bat an eye. Many countries with strong social systems also won't have any issues (Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, France, etc.). Poorer countries have very hospitable populations. Rich counties have very compassionate populations. I haven't seen issues in most Central or Eastern European countries.

I wouldn't think twice about this issue. Go for it and have fun.

We are all overweight or clumsy or loud or poor or short or pale or redhead or scarred or have poor eyesight or can't hear well or don't speak the language or can't convert the currency or introverts or whatever ... don't let any of that hold you back - treat everyone you meet with respect and compassion and you are virtually certain to be treated the same in return.
