I honestly think if democrats remained EXACTLY completely the same in everything but changed 1. their name and 2. their color it would bring about a new progressive wave. They could announce as a completely new party called the patriot conservatives with the color gold for money, a lot of brain dead rural americans would finally start saying things like "wow the patriot conservatives have great policies, they know about healthcare and jobs herp derp".
