I'll take "Why the libertarian party will not surpass 5% of the vote in the next two decades for 800 Alex"

So a society taking from others at gunpoint that which it has not produced itself

The issue is the society has played a part in producing the wealth I have earned. I went to a public school, driving on public roads, policed by public servants, managed by public administrators.

To say the society has not had a part in the production of my salary, which is paid for in bills produced on the public dime, in a public treasury and secured from fraud by a public agency is just asinine.

So no, I don't think a government levying taxes is similar.
