Tremors (1990) The scene where Val McKee misses hammering the nail was improvised by Kevin Bacon, Fred Ward and Ron Underwood.

I had pretty much the best possible setup one could have to see Blair Witch Project. I went in not only blind, but never having heard of the movie, seen any ads, nothing.

I'd been traveling for a few months and just missed all the ads. I had half a day to kill waiting for some transfer, so I bought a ticket for Lake Placid, which was such a godawful movie that I justified sneaking into another movie to 'get my money's worth'.

I had missed the first few minutes of Blair Witch, and was so high that until the end I thought it was an actual documentary. Pretty much the best possible setup. It's an experience that is really only possible with the subset of movies that are fictional documentaries, and the only others I know of those are comedies that would give it away immediately.
