The trials meta is infuriating and 0% fun

Also, my Hopscotch is mostly fine where it is, I would choose it over PDX-45 any day.

Then if they ever made the PDX 45 3 burst a bit more consistently, you would not do well at all. Right now a lot of people 4 burst with hawksaw which is why it needs a buff to compete with HCs, if it 3 bursts more mid impact will decidedly be left out in the cold.

Those guns are not good pvp guns because their ease of use means a very mediocre TTK. They can't get buffed in terms of shots to kill, they can only have their ROF upped by a frame or two but that makes another archetype pointless- the scout archetypes are too numerous and too close together.

Right now, e.g. mid impact scouts fire once every 10 frames (4 shot TTK is 1s). MIDA fires every 9, a 4 shot with a TTK of .9s.

So the first shot is fired on frame 0, then you have another 30 frames to fire 3 shots for mid impact, and you have another 27 frames to fire 3 MIDA shots.

I don't see the point of one of those archetypes existing, and leaving the mid impact archetype existing means a whole lot of guns that are not viable in crucible in approaching decent lobbies.

.1s matters a lot when it comes to living or escaping from gunfights or duelling. It's a similar deal with high vs mid impact HCs.

So why not have an actually competitive 2/2 gun but that has quite high zoom and poor hip fire ACC, and then let pulses and HCs make it harder to use up close?
