I tried the Diablo Immortal demo at BlizzCon and spoke to one of the game's devs and asked how they deal with the massive negative response.

Did people forget the times before pay to win ? Before candycrash and DLC ?

If we let big companies always have their way we will be left with nothing. Their main aim is to get the money.

They would charge us for breathing if they could get away with it. (Any business would)

apps are not the future of video games. They are too simple and uncomfortable to offer a full enjoyable game experience like other consols. Yes I game on my phone But not to replace my computer. If we let mobile gaming take over (lets face it - it would cost the companies less to produce and it's easier to cash in) This is the end of games. Fact.

We are the costumer. We pay to get what we want.

And we have a voice to express it if we don't like something.

Again I am glad some people would enjoy playing it. But we have a valid argument why it is a bad move.
