I wouldn't really say I have a 'triforce' of individual titles as much as generational preference and even then it's more of a hexagon than a triforce. That said, though, my favorite generations are: I, II, III, IV (remakes) and VI (remakes). Aside from D/P/Pt which I am not all that fond of, I really don't have much to say about BW/BW2, X/Y and S/M. I enjoyed the original Black and White but they aren't my favorites and I haven't played much of BW2, X/Y, or S/M yet. Although, from what little I did play of X/Y back when they came out I would consider it the best of the rest of the series (though, S/M could beat it out. Still haven't even fired them up yet).

Out of all of them, I am still a sucker for the original R/B/Y and I regularly make it a point to go back and replay them. A couple of years ago I went back and played R/S/E for the first time since 2003 and though I didn't like them back then I am quite taken by them these days. I am also quite fond of the remakes and purely out of spite I hope GameFreak makes another Generation I remake and flat out skip D/P/Pt.
