Western civilization will, without a doubt. It's become victim to such a staggering instance of cognitive dissonance that Americans live more in the past than in the present. The media deliberately misconstrued the shooting of Michael Brown as a "war on blacks", and people still think that women are paid less and expected to be barefoot and pregnant. These things stopped being the case around fifty fucking years ago. Fifty fucking years. And after all that time, few of us seem to recognize progress when we see it. Men have less legal rights than women and are paraded around by a cabal of lunatics whenever a false accusation is leveled against them, but we're more concerned with rape culture against women even though the rape of women hasn't been excused away as somehow acceptable in the Western world for the last hundred years. The rape culture we DO have is that male rape victims aren't taken seriously, but that doesn't count because those guys have all the power, right?
The exceedingly obvious answer to any problem ever is to look at the evidence and work out a solution as needed. But this society has no concern for evidence. This society cares about narratives. The patriarchy, this idea that women have been struggling for freedom and winning their independence from icky white men or whatever, is a story that has become absurdly popular in the public conscious, to the point where we believe that women in normal Western society have it worse and are so discriminated against even though they don't and aren't.
If we gave a damn about evidence, we'd be fighting for women who have had acid thrown on their faces. We'd be busting sex trafficking rings. We'd be going after real problems. Some of us are. But there are too many of us willing to spend $80,000 just to tell men not to sit how their bodies are designed. And those shitstains have all of the momentum, from that narrative that women are oppressed in the Western world (even though they aren't). Oppose an SJW and you generally just look like a bigot, even if you're more of a level headed person who is simply living in the present and not holding on to outdated narratives of what it is to be a woman in America.

And if you've got a narrative on your side, no one can stop you no matter how ridiculous you are. That's how all your fascist and communist dictatorships rise to power, and it's also how cults can become the dominant religion of a nation. "Social justice" having the cult mentality that it does, I would be pleasantly surprised if it didn't strip the West of most of its higher reasoning faculties and stagnate it to the point where nothing short of another cultural paradigm shift could get it running up again.
But what movement could achieve that? Said movement would be arguing in favor of the rights of white men, and no one would listen because the narrative isn't on their side.
