Trillionaires should not exist

But there seem to be some pretty dangerous misconceptions about his wealth, in particular vastly overestimating it and generally being clueless about how businesses and the economy works. Almsot all of Jeff Bezos' networth is virtual money. Think about it like a house. You can spend millions of dollars building a house and then set fire to it. Do you still have those millions of dollars? No, the house is only as much worth as people are willing to pay for it. As long as you own it, it has only personal value (and the cost of constructing it, which - if you constructed it yourself - would be close to 0). Before you can sell it all kinds of things could happen. People might simply no longer like your house, the prices for houses could be way down, nobody might be willing to pay as much as you'd like for the house, or the house could be damaged and lose in value this way.

On a similar way, all other assets work as well including companies.
