Accepting reality? What is reality in your view? Where do you think reality comes from? The only rational explanation I can think of is God. How would you explain existence. I realize its okay to not have an answer, and I indeed sometimes feel that way, but I'm continually drawn to the mystery. Evolution is true, indubitable, though Darwinism (by which the idea that all evolution was the product of the impersonal force of natural selection) has been contested by many thinkers, including some atheists, like Thomas Nagel. But why was there anything to evolve from in the first place. Why a big bang, or equatable cosmological event. There's the thought that in the beginning their was no matter but some kind of quantum field. But why was it there in the first place. Why is there something rather than nothing? It almost seems rational that nothing should exist, and yet it does.
