A trip to market

As Luca headed off to find Hiroko and ensure that he would hold their confidence and refrain from spreading knowledge of what he'd seen today Tacitus pushed off the ground still holding his blade leisurely at his side as he cut through the air and landed a few meters from Florencia on the edge of the smokestack. With a sigh he moved the tip of his blade in small slow circles in the air.

"I'm not sure what to make of you Florencia," he said softly, there was no malice in his voice, or frustration, only a tone that said he wanted to understand. "You're strong, and from what I've seen you're fairly smart, you have a desire to survive on your own power, and the strength to do just that. What I don't understand is how you can be so aggressive. It was natural to hold suspicion of Hiroko until Luca vouched for him, just as it was natural to hold such suspicion of Luca until I did, but continuing to hold that suspicion now is a unnecessary. Luca is speaking to Hiroko to let him know that our alliance, the three of us, is to remain a secret and that if it is shared the cost for that indiscretion will be his life. I came to speak with you because your aggression toward our ally is undeserved and unnecessary. Luca is part of this alliance, as are you, and we're stronger for every member that we can secure. I know the desire to reach a goal, and believe it or not I have known bloodlust in my time, but you must keep yourself in check. If you wish we can spar when we return to Hueco Mundo, if that will help ease your desire for blood, but you must know the correct time for diplomacy and the time for force, we all must."

Looking into her eyes Tacitus hopes that she understands that he isn't here to scold her, but to ensure that the alliance is whole. Losing the opportunity to recruit Hiroko wasn't a huge blow, but losing one of their small number on top of it would be.
