Trolls, I'm leaving for basic military training in a week. The panic is real. I need uplifting/badass bitch gifs, pics or quote. PLEASE!

Oh, this is even better than the advice I gave - OP if you disregard everything I said, follow this person's advice!!

Plus, I want to combine these two points - when you're wrong, don't make excuses or try to foist blame on others. Admit what you did wrong, and make a sincere effort NOT to make the same mistake more than once.

This advice is true EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT WRONG. Like, if the floor is not as clean as it should be during an inspection and you're getting jacked up for it but it was someone else's job to clean the floor, don't say "This is someone else's fault," even though it is. Your instructors won't like you any more for passing the blame.

Recognize that everything you do will be a team effort, and that if the floor isn't clean, that IS partly your fault, no matter whose job it was - you should all be checking and cross checking each others' work. That's how a good team functions in the military. You make the beds, someone else checks them for tightness while you check the locks on everyone's closets or trunks to make sure they're closed and locked. Look out for your team.
