Trouble with a bible verse.

I've got an honest question. Are you saying that genocide is bad? Or are you saying that reading about genocide is bad?

I'm asking because the verse you cited is ancient history and therefore you're only reading about genocide.

But when it comes to your own life, and I'm throwing my life in this equation as well, you and I have never done anything to prevent any type of genocide in our lifetime.

I've also found that most people, and I'm not talking about most people on this sub, but in general most people don't consider abortion to be genocide.

If you don't think abortion is genocide, and the people in biblical times didn't think a command to kill these innocent children as you said, was genocide, how are these two different examples actually any different?
