Why do truckers hate hometime.

Mack is the best I've seen so far and they still suck sometimes. I actually have to think more with the AMT because it doesn't know how to shift, or when. Because of that I'm constantly fighting it through the mountains because you push the button and it does nothing, push it again, suddenly it skips a gear and now you're lugging or screaming; both options are out of the engine's powerband.

Not many AMTs are good at creeping either, the older 10 speeds damn near dump the clutch when you touch the throttle ever so slightly.

Fuck it, let the rookies have the AMTs if they want them. Not many of them care about mastering the trade anyway. Just about everybody is "here for the money" these days.

Which is a whole other conversation.
