True!

"I'm a 14 year old philosopher, here something deep now give me karma/awards"

"Or I'm a social media activist, listen to me because I know best". Yet if social media disappeared, they wouldn't be activists anymore, would they?

I also understand that there are spaces made for birds of feather an that there is a purpose for echo chambers, discussing complexed/complicated/nuanced topics can't effectively be talked about in an echo chamber. A lot of group biases can lead to wrong conclusions or come with unintended consequences not not one wanted to address out of fear of being ostracized.

We're stupidly tribal. It is for that reason that I avoid making my identity about some group or something. Too often that just results in arrogant, out of touch thinking.
