Is it true that if I fail exam 421 I'll get cut loose?

There are forms questions, but I can't remember anymore since it was already 7 months ago. I wouldn't get too hung up about it because you'll find out in the academy that there's tons of forms. Out of all of those, there will be a handful that your instructor (if they're good) will point out as something to keep in mind.

Honestly, the exam was pretty straightforward as long as you paid attention and participated in class. The way we covered the coursebook, the instructor made each student read out loud a paragraph (or two). If it means anything, the only two people who failed the exam in my class were also the ones who didn't participate in the reading (one was sick and the other seemed to have trouble reading).

Again, if your instructor is good, they'll highlight the important concepts to remember and they'll even give you practice questions (try to just memorize all of them). You'll be fine. Don't stress too much about it because after you pass the exam and become a window clerk, you'll find out that most of the learning is done from actually doing the job (i.e. working at the window and making unavoidable/inevitable mistakes that you remember to not do again).

Enjoy that one week of easy money :)
