Florida's medical market is bigger than Canada's medical market. Florida's market has fewer licensed operators, reducing competition for those with licenses. Florida's regulations are more permissive with respect to derivative products, advertising, delivery, etc.

The US market is going to trounce Canada's. Sadly, a lot of investors around here are holding onto the belief that Canada's first mover status is more meaningful than it actually is. Had Canada not royally screwed themselves on regulatory design and rollout, their advantage may have been more meaningful. But now, they're left with a relatively limited domestic market and a smattering of early stage global markets that are poorly defined/understood.
