This was truly annoying. Like a warning sign on a pack of cigarettes.

Honestly, those questions are the worst as an employee. I work at a Best Buy, and at least once a week, I have someone ask me where the iPad cases are. We have an Apple Store in our store, taking up a fairly large amount of space with very large Apple logos all over it. It's very hard to miss, and it's designed to be open in a way where once you walk into it, it's immediately evident where everything is.

I can just say to them, "Oh, in the Apple Store" and point and they will immediately understand, but they'll feel like the world's biggest dumbass. So I have to go out of my way to unnecessarily over-explain where specifically the iPad cases are within the Apple Store just to make it seem perceptually like it's a hard question by giving a far more complex answer than it deserves.

Whenever I have to answer those questions, I'm just wishing internally that they could've asked me about something at least a little fun, like asking me the location of some insanely obscure clearance product that could be in any one of five different clearance sections.
