Trump?

You're right - this is where we disagree. Though HRC would've done some things and continued some trajectories that needed to change, at least she didn't represent a threat to global stability like Trump. Also, Trump is a clinical narcissist and weapons-grade jackass who, in my mind, will do far more damage to our country than the TPP ever could've done. Of course you're entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to mine.

I think they both sucked, but Trump will be obvious. Hillary is lowering a bar that keeps getting slowly lowered every year. It's subversive. Hidden. A slow rot.

Trump's just obviously a shithead. That's better.

My side did lose, narrowly (I'd call 70,000 votes in 3 rust belt states pretty fuckin' narrow). I'm not arguing that HRC should've won - she lost by the rules of our elections. I'm not bitching about the result as much as I am marveling (and terrified) that someone like Donald Fucking Trump could capture the hearts and minds of enough people to propel him to victory. He's the president. He won. That doesn't mean I think he "deserved" to win or that he will be a good president. I think he's lucky if he gets through year 1. Character always shines through in the end. And his is as rotten as there exists on the planet.

Trump won 30 states to 20, 306 Electoral Votes to 232 and by 2 million votes in 49 states. I'm sorry, but hippie dippie California doesn't get to elect our POTUS.

Hillary knew the game was electoral votes. This isn't news. She completely failed to get them. Completely. She lost. Badly. She even lost the White Woman vote which was supposed to be her lock... 53% of white women going to Trump.

Your side didn't lose narrowly. You lost bigly.
