Trump Approves Strikes on Iran, but Then Abruptly Pulls Back

Uh yeah I've met a lot of them and they're generally nice folks. There's definitely messed up people in there and it doesn't excuse the many fuckups the military has made with civilians, but you're living in another world if you seriously think the average US soldier is signing up because they're chomping at the bit to carve up innocent people.

The reasons why people go nuts during war are both immensely complex and heartbreakingly simple. If you don't see that then you need to examine how far into the bandwagon you've put yourself in. Everyone's in a fucking bandwagon, but we have to remember to apply our brakes lest we try to run over groups we've unilaterally deemed evil and inhuman.
