Trump claims Nancy Pelosi and impeachment offends all Americans of faith. He's wrong.

Jesus was not around for the authoring of the book of Revelations by John and John does not even claim that book to be an accounting of what Jesus said or did. He claims it as a vision.

Now John was a pretty prolific author and the wrote the majority of the record of what we know about Jesus. But he ain't Jesus and he don't claim to be. He's got his own opinions and he is particularly clear about that in the book he wrote that you are quoting.

And before you start on the "devine, inspired, believe everything you read" crap, was it the lecture given to the Corinthians or the Galatians, I don't remember and I'm on a phone, where the apostle (Phillip I think) got called bullshit on. He saud something and they straight up said that thing was NOT was Jesus taught. And he commended them. He backed it up l, and presented more evidence and argument, and said "good on you. Don't believe anyone at face value. Not even me."

The Bible specifically says to not believe everything you read. Take it with a grain of salt. Even this book. Jesus was a thinker and a debater and lived a life of contemplation and deep self reflection with the underlying premise of "just don't be an asshole". He said that, and the friends he hung with backed that up in their accounts.

Personally I like the guy. I disagree with him on a few minor details, but from what I've read about him, I think he'd respect me for that. I'll buy him a water in the afterlife and he'll turn it into wine and we we'll sit drinking and debating like loves to do.
