It appears you dont know how negotiations work. You dont go in weak and subjugated, like most European leaders always do. Think of Theresa May and king of soyboys, former substitute drama teacher Justin Trudeau.

This is why Obama's foreign policy in the East Asia region is an astounding zero. (Maybe the US' role in the spratly islands dispute). Think of the countless times he issued a weak willed threat only to not act on it.

To come out on top of a negotiation, espacially in the Asia region, (something most career politicians will never be able to do on a regular basis), you have to go in from a position of power and be the one making demands.
