I thought even Trump and his entourage of sycophants would at least appear to change their tune in response to this crisis. Maybe even loosen the sanctions noose around Iran for the duration. If he actually stepped up and started behaving like an even semi rational and respectable human being his approval would skyrocket. But it looks like, once again, they have chosen the worst possible option. The fact that they choose the worst possible option at every opportunity has been the only point of stability in his presidency. He is still spreading misinformation, spinning the facts, denigrating the media, and trying to pass legislation out of right wing wet dreams. He is the worst possible person to be in charge right now, and is doing more harm than good.
