Trump Is One of the Worst World Leaders on Earth, According to the Rest of the World

What exactly have we "done" to the rest of the world the past 4 years? If you are a European and you aren't too keen on war, Trump is one of the few Presidents since WW2 (if not the only) that has not embroiled the U.S. in a new conflict.

He is not as interested in some of the global institutions, but guess what, neither are a bunch of the U.S.'s citizens. Particularly when China and others are given the same seat at the table.

On NATO, we had Presidents that you all liked kindly asking your government to step up and be actual military allies as opposed to protectorates and your governments refused. At a certain point, it is an expectation that allies would actually spend a reasonable amount of money on their own defense. If it is not important to you, why should it be important to us?

All European countries are involved in economic protectionism, can't get mad at the U.S. for wanting some of the same protections for our markets and goods as you demand from your government.

Finally, many of us have gotten the message from the rest of the world that you don't like us and wish us to fuck off. Noted. Don't expect us to leave our ball for you to play with when you tell us that though. As one of the horrible people that I see foreign redditors talking about when it comes to the U.S. public, we have gotten the message. This is a marriage of convenience.
