Trump proposes eliminating federal funding for PBS, NPR

Just in case you guys needed some primary source material, I'm a Quaker (admittedly, a newer one) who has been studying the core ideas of Christianity for a while.

These guys are missing quite a few crucial points. Over the years, I've forgotten exact verses and creeds and the numbers have become fuzzy, but it's hardly a theme that only half exists in one place in the religion like many ideas are. No sect can truly believe in Social Darwinism without ignoring some pretty overt messages and denying some pretty uncontroversial messages.

To be completely clear, I'm not saying that they're necessarily bad people or that anyone who respects these ideas are necessarily good or that we can define someone as "good" or "bad" based on what we know, but I am saying that I don't believe that their views are in accordance with Christian teaching on the subject from the majority of schools of thought.
