Trump Rally Postponed in Chicago as Large Crowds of Protesters Gather

From my viewpoint, you appear to be using the well-worn label of "racist" in an attempt to thwart critical thinking.

I've only been watching Trump's debates and rallies for a few days, but I haven't seen anything racist about the man yet.

He said he thinks that a lot of "Islam" hates us. That is true. It's not a religion of peace. True Islam insists on war with or taxation of non-believers. Moderate Muslims do not hold this view - I have travelled to the mid-East and know this from experience - and while they are wonderful people, that does not change the simple fact that radical elements continue to engage with us. Both the Democrats and (traditional) Republicans want to continue this war. I sat in amazement a few nights ago and watched as Trump told Anderson Cooper that we have to get to the bottom of this thing and figure this out... we have to understand why they hate us and stop pretending like they don't.

He's called out the Mexican drug problem and called out for a stronger stance on illegal immigration (which favors criminals) while advocating for legal immigration. I am all in favor of this... I have friends and relatives who live in Mexico and I know how hard the good people there work and how much value they bring to this country, and how much they are hurt by the bad people.

At the debate last night, he was the only one on stage who said he would be neutral between Israel and Palestine. Let's be candid: Both of those countries are bad actors. They both do some seriously bad things to each other. We have to stop sticking our heads in the sand and pretending like Israel is blameless.

Anyway, these seem like the statements of a level-headed individual to me. Brave statements, in fact.

Being the centerist you are? A protest makes someone a thug?

This wasn't a protest. They used violence to shut down free speech because they are afraid of what this man has to say. If it is so bad, then his words will sink him.
