Trump Says Apple’s Cook Concerned About Losing Edge to Samsung With Tariffs

In what universe do these jobs come back to the United States? Do you know anyone who would work for $2.50 an hour?

Tariffs will raise prices in the short term, including retaliatory tariffs against US products that China does import, so that our own exports will be ignored and rerouted elsewhere and never return. We just handed our soybean industry to Brazil, probably forever.

If the factories ever come back they’ll be entirely automated to the point where if they ever return to the United States they’ll only employ managers and engineers.
