You gotta be joking right? These “protestors” are acting more like domestic terrorists causing mayhem in these cities. Portland has been out of control for over a month now. Innocent people getting hurt by civilians and getting their cars stolen or destroyed, people still destroying small businesses which are people’s livelihoods, and they are defacing the whole city with graffiti. Are you saying this should be allowed? The police were initially told to back down with hope that it fizzles out, but it hasn’t, so Trump has taken matters into his own hands. People are going to be quickly moving out of Portland, just like Minneapolis, if it remains this unsafe and it will continue to go downhill. These are NOT just peaceful protestors, although some of them may be in good faith, and they should be treated like criminals if they want to act like them. Let me also mention I whole heartedly stand by freedom of speech, freedom to exercise religion, freedom to peaceably assemble, and freedom of press. These are being trampled on more by the big tech corporations with the enormous censorship than by Trump... and he was trying to reinstate freedom to exercise religion which Democrats were outraged about, but they are okay with millions of protestors? Makes sense. Disclaimer, I used to call myself a liberal before I witnessed the hypocrisy and intolerance coming from the far left. I did not vote for Trump and I sway between center left and center right now.
