This one is tough legally, the states have a lot of control over theri elections but in this case the trump admin has a decent argument, that it is unfairly adding on requirements to be president, when the rules and regs are set by the constitution and are specifically not a state power.

I dont see our right winger supreme court holding up the California law.

I have seen statements by the cali AG that they designed the law specifically knowing trump would fight it. so they suggest it has good legal standing.

on one hand not being on cali doesnt prevent you from being president, you can get to 270 without cali but honestly the trump admin this time has an ok arguement.. you cant add new regulations against being president outside the constitution. hate trump but i see the supreme court agreeing.
