Trump’s wall is a monument to vanity and bigotry

bullshit numbers that no one else can corroborate

The 134 sources at the bottom of the document are all fake right lmao.

Nowraseth's meta analysis sound logical on the surface level, but if you actually read them, they don't impact the original study very much.

  1. Fair enough, but a 12% error isn't that egregious in this context - this would keep the ratio of illegal contribution:government contribution the same.
  2. If illegals were not able to be in the US, their kids would not be US citizens. The reason they have the kids here is so that it's harder to be deported. I don't see what the point here is - literally any US citizens has the same (probably more) impact as illegal immigrant's child.
  3. Argument makes no sense. Canada doesn't spend nearly as much on border security as the US because there aren't masses of Americans running to Canada.
  4. Same as point 2.
  5. His referenced study references immigrants as a whole and not illegals specifically. In areas with high levels of illegals, they show up to emergency rooms under fake names with no insurance, and that cost is passed along to other patients. Hospitals are obligated to treat everybody that shows up to the ER.
  6. Uses a study looking at immigrants, not just illegals. Also, you're telling me an apartment with 100 illegal immigrants would have a higher property value than 100 legal citizens? Yeah, no.
  7. Illegals definitely don't contribute to social security and medicare.
  8. Argument doesn't make a case for illegals - just that more people = more people buying things = more tax money.
