Trump made half his campaign about the wall and the promise of reduced immigration, it was a sticking point that I gravitated towards for personal reasons (Pm if you want, I get downvoted so I can't comment much here)

I think there are obviously more effective ways to reduce immigration but he did put the spotlight on the issue, which was why he had my support.

To answer the other question; no I don't think democrats want my guns. Seeing my republican friends post all those 2nd amendment shit memes on FB make me laugh, I can't take them seriously. I would probably be democrat right now if Hillary wasn't the alternative. She rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, and was just enough of a push to lead us to Trump.
