Trump supporter here, abandoning ship.

Thanks for doing the right thing. Your post history is very 4chan like indeed :)

Just a minor request and a rant about 4chan,

Would you be willing to convince some of your /pol/ friends to open their eyes and see what life is like on the other side of the political pond? I don't mean to disrespect anyone's views here, but I tend to lurk on /pol/ and people there have a very clouded view on politics.

As much as /pol/ likes to talk about it, migration is a non-issue at this point. Come to Europe, especially my country, Sweden, there are boatloads of immigrants here. They're humans too, but unfortunately /pol/ makes you believe they're not because of the different culture and lower civil standards in the countries where those immigrants came from.

I remember talking about a Trump supporter and /pol/ poster who said that there's a difference between a war being morally right and a war being justified. His point was that Iraq was justified for economic reasons, but that didn't mean it's morally right. Sure, point taken.

But then he went on and said that the Holocaust was justified because in German eyes, the Jews caused havoc. He said that this is justifying it in perspective.

Here is the issue with /pol/. There are no perspectives in justice. Justice is black and white. Saying that migrants shouldn't be allowed in because they will cause mayhem is a perspective. Yet, /pol/ believes that their perspective is justice.

Justice should be sought through facts. Is it a fact that migrants will cause mayhem? Of course not. Is it a fact that the Jews caused havoc in Germany? Of course not! But at the time, people got that perspective because the German propaganda machine let you believe that it is a fact which would justify it. Same deal here. The Trump propaganda machine, along with an extreme environment such as /pol/ will make you believe that migrants are in fact going to cause mayhem. Because that propaganda is all you -want- to see, it is a fact to you because you don't see the other side of the story, which justifies your stance and which is why /pol/'s stance is clouded.
