Trump Supreme Court front-runner Amy Coney Barrett belongs to group that inspired “Handmaid’s Tale”

I've heard arguments that the 1st amendment only dictates a "one way wall" which prevents government from interfering in religion, but does not prevent religion from the same. Like this pleasant young man telling you theocracy is good.

The obvious logical break here is that if religion enters government, it becomes government, and thereby interferes with religion by its very exsistence.

Theocracy = bad

All of history screams this.

We should base our laws and legislation off of discovered evidence that dictates the course of action, not from an established superstition. Belief is one thing, but if someone bases thier entire life off it, saying "God First" they should at the very least be scrutinized regularly and removed in nessecery if they are in a public office that can effect law.
