Trump tells "great American companies" they are "hereby ordered" to leave China

Who said I was against single payer? I’m against single payer for a large segment of illegals. If we could deport all illegals, I’d be happy to vote for single payer. I don’t think you should positively compel companies to do anything, but it’s perfectly fine to set restrictions on what they can do or what they are allowed access to granted decisions they make. I’m also in favor of holding executives personally responsible for wrongdoing. If it were up to me, companies who hire illegals in this country in violation of immigration laws should be prosecuted and wealth confiscated. Executives who abandon our people seeking profits abroad should be stripped of citizenship.

I’m of the mind that restrictions can be placed on a business in what they can and can’t pursue for profit. We already do this as we don’t let companies sell radon as a health drink anymore. That would be harmful. I’m ok with expanding that definition of harmful rightfully to include activities that severely undercut our national stability. Closing down plants to open them overseas and still try to sell the goods in this market fits that definition in my book.
