Trump is ‘a threat to our world order’ and unworthy of UK state visit, Labour’s Emily Thornberry says: Shadow foreign secretary said the US president’s plan to quit the agreement regulating arms sales between countries showed he was “nothing but a disgrace to his office”.

You’re not a Brexiter but you’re advocating for Brexit?

I'm not advocating for Brexit. You seem to have not read what I typed. I flat out do not care what the UK does. It could decide to cease to exist and it would have no tangible effect on my life. I have simply stated that it does not have the power to assert its sovereignty against the U.S. AND that it has ceded its sovereignty to the EU.

So ceding control is always bad?

Yes

Should we ban public transport because that’s willingly ceding control of your means of transport? Is public transport equivalent to abduction to you?

That has nothing to do with sovereignty. That is a service provided with taxes paid by citizens or paid to directly to the service for use.

Should we ban restaurants because that’s willingly ceding control of how your food is prepared?

It's not ceding control at all. That's payment for a desired good and service.

Please elaborate on how willingly ceding control is as bad as control forcefully being taken away.

Outcome is identical. Means by which it happens isn't relevant.
