Do you think Trump will bring jobs back to middle America?

This is nothing more than economic favoritism

Nope.

you intend to build into mandatory law.

Yup.

There are other methods, however, that can show some of the features of that model without accepting all of them, such as bounded rationality

I'm well aware of Simon's framework. In fact, behavioral economics has advanced quite a bit since 1955. Despite being aware of that fact, you seem unable to grasp that it may have implications for the infallibility of free trade.

If you are really interested in this subject, I would also encourage you to look into the Austrian school.

I love how you equivocate between patronizing and trying to enlighten me. The difference between us is that I'm not interested in changing your opinion. I'm answering your questions because you're the one asking (you understand that this is /r/AskThe_Donald, right?). Other than that, I have no particular respect for you or your sophomoric ideas.

Law is backed by the threat of violence. Tariffs are law. What do you expect Trump's government to do to those who act in violation of his, or your, ideas of who they are allowed to associate with?

Oh, I see. You have a problem with the concept of law in general. That actually does clarify quite a bit for me.
